In Avignon, a «Week of Art» considered at All Saints' Day

Gathered to validate the cancellation plan of its 74th edition, the board of directors of the Avignon Festival wants to organize a mini-festival at All Saints' Day, where a few plays will be played this summer. As well as an audiovisual and digital program in July.

At the All Saints' Day,  is indeed considered the holding of a «Art Week», mini-festival in reference to the historic «Art Week» of Jean Vilar in September 1947, which was the initial stone of the Avignon Festival.

Five or six shows would be presented in the City of the Popes, of the 45 initially scheduled.
 
Paul Rondin, the administrative director of the "In" confirmed that there would be “a week of art at All Saints’ Day, to keep the link with the territory, the artists, and all the spectators of France and the world. Avignon is a place of reunion”.
